Andrew “Drew” Glackin died at age 44 from an advanced form of Graves’ Disease (hyperthyroidism) also known as a Thyroid Storm. Drew did not know how serious his condition was—he thought he was experiencing flu symptoms. The disease that took Drew’s life at such an early age may cause any of the following; rapid weight loss, sweating, feeling hot, rapid heartbeats, heart failure, high fever (105°-106°), and more.

People experiencing thyroid storm cannot function normally. This is a life-threatening emergency and if you are or know someone experiencing symptoms of thyroid storm get to the emergency room immediately.

Drewstock, Inc. is a non-profit charity in the state of Pennsylvania. Proceeds from our fund raising events aid in further education and/or research. Our honorary founding member of Drewstock, Andrew "Drew" Glackin, indirectly started us on this venture to help others. Drew will always be the driving force behind this organization.
